Welcome to Mandala Integrative Veterinary Care. Dr. Kelly Keeney graduated from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. After graduating, she spent two years working in a small animal AAHA accredited hospital in Portland, Oregon. Quickly after beginning her career as a veterinarian, Dr. Keeney became drawn to learning about holistic approaches to healing patients. She soon became certified in Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture after studying with Dr Huisheng Xie, DVM PhD, of the Chi Institute in Florida. Dr. Keeney's passion to practice holistic medicine led to the opening of her practice in her native Boulder, Colorado, early in 2010.

The philosophy of Dr. Keeney's practice revolves around her belief in the body’s innate ability to heal itself. This belief has led her to explore many holistic healing modalities such as acupuncture, Chinese herbal and plant medicine, homeopathy and food therapy.

"I focus on providing the body with the natural tools that it needs to heal itself from the inside out. Integrative medicine can really be the best of both worlds, drawing on the strengths of multiple medicines and techniques to find the gentlest and most effective combination for the individual. By supporting the body’s pathways to self-healing we can achieve true and lasting health."
